What began with one small building 5 years ago continues to increase today. During the month of November, Family Worship Center acquired new property on Mechanic Street adjacent to the main parking lot. Immediately, the older home on that property and the hedgerow were removed to make room for a new playground for FTCA students. The playground equipment was installed during the Thanksgiving break, and a fence will be constructed soon.
Principal Richard Reese also announced recently that construction for a gymansium/cafeteria will begin in the near future. The gymnasium will feature varsity sports dressing rooms for boys and girls as well as Physical Education dressing rooms. In addition, a 190-seat cafeteria, weight-room, and commercial kitchen will be included.
"It's just amazing how we have grown and been blessed, and we're very thankful for that," Reese said. "Our goal is to not just continue what we're doing but to improve and do the very best we can. We are looking forward to even greater things."
Anyone wishing to make a donation toward the new gymnasium may contact the FTCA office.
