FTCA Prepares Students to Succeed
   FTCA strives to see each student succeed academically so that they will be prepared for whatever their futures may hold.
   Principal Richard Reese is implementing several new steps that will help ensure the success of every FTCA student.
   First, 7th through 12th grade students participated in the "Study Smart" program this week. The idea is to teach students how to take notes more efficiently and how to retain what they study more effectively.
   Another step toward student success is the ACT Preparatory tests. The 8th grade students will take the Explore so that teachers and parents can focus more intently on weaker areas. Likewise, the 10th grade students will take the PLAN which will help the students feel more comfortable with the content and format of the ACT.
